OTTO, Susan Chaney - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Susan Chaney Otto, mother of Mrs. Thomas Blessing of this city, died on Sunday June 22 at her home on East Main Street, Danville, Illinois. She had been a patient sufferer for a long time of cancer, which confined

her to her bed for more than 9 months. She was 57 years of age and was born at Camargo, Illinois.

Short funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the home in Danville and from there the body was taken overland to Newman, Illinois, where funeral services were held at 2:30 on Wednesday

and the interment be made in the Newman Cemetery.

Mrs. Otto is survived by her husband and 7 daughters: Mrs. Ava Blessing of this city; Mrs. Hazel Johnson, Mrs. Maud Sommerville, Mrs. Lora Wear, Mrs. White Young and Mrs. Black Davis and Miss Jennie Otto who made her home with her parents in Danville.
